2007 – Partyman

Five friends plan to have a party to mark the end of the holidays before they head back to school, but they don’t know where they should begin.

Enter the Partyman …

“Got a party to plan, who you going to call? Call the Partyman”.

The Partyman is the Mega-Party Planner. The Partyman claims to have organised celebrations for football grand finals and New Year’s Eve fireworks, and also acts as a consultant for the Olympics Games.

Over a series of 10 short episodes the friends, with assistance from the Partyman, plan their massive party.  However, things do not go quite as smoothly as they would have hoped. Mysteriously, things go wrong, and suspicion grows that someone is out to wreck their party!

It seems the friends’ party is destined for doom.  Friendships are tested to breaking point as they struggle to overcome each new obstacle. Can the Partyman help the friends overcome these obstacles and pull together in time to save the party?

The Partyman short film forms part of “The Party at the End of Time” children’s holiday program, which seeks to teach about the celebration God has planned for those who accept His invitation given through Jesus.

“The Party at the End of Time” is a five-day program featuring songs, drama, art, craft, Bible based teaching and leaders’ resources. It is designed for children between the ages 5 to 13.
